PEPY Hotel Recommendations

With over one hundred options for accommodation in Siem Reap, we would like to recommend a few of our favorites. We have based our choices on hotel quality as well as social responsibility and tried to include a full range of price options.  If you are interested in booking rooms at any of these hotels, we encourage you to contact the person listed below and mention PEPY to take advantage of the special rates or potential upgrades offered to our guests.

Shinta Mani

shinta mani

Located just off the river in Siem Reap, Shinta Mani is easily accessible from the center of town but feels worlds apart. Cambodian owned and staffed by many of the graduates from the attached Shinta Mani Hospitality Institute, the small 4-star resort is best described as “laid back luxury.”  Guests enjoy all the amenities of the larger hotels, including an award-winning spa, but in a much more relaxed and personal setting. Often recognized for their responsible tourism practices, the hotel provides free education for students of the hospitality institute and supports local villages in the area through
sponsorship programs.

Hotel De La Paix

hotel de la paix

Named “Cambodia’s hippest hotel,” by Time Magazine, Hotel De La Paix is a distinctively designed 5-star boutique hotel in the center of Siem Reap.  While the convenient location allows for short walks into the heart of Siem Reap, the delicious food and trendy relaxed atmosphere at the pool, bar, café, and restaurant make it difficult to leave. With the same Cambodian born owner as Hotel Shinta Mani, De La Paix supports the same social projects as well as sponsoring a sewing school to provide opportunities for rural women.

Located just outside the temples of Angkor, the price and experience of Hanuman Alaya make it one of the best spots in all of Siem Reap.

The Soria Moria

the soria moria

The initial idea of Soria Moria was to combine a profitable business with a strong focus on helping the surrounding community.  What Soria Moria has become is one of the best three star hotel options in Siem Reap.  The combination of a friendly local staff, clean comfortable rooms, and panoramic views from the rooftop bar and sundeck make it a great option at a low price.
