Thank you for choosing PEPY and for fundraising to help sustain the projects you will learn about and visit on your tour! Rather than viewing this aspect of your tour as a burden, we hope you will look at it as an opportunity to learn more about our work and a chance to start supporting the projects you will visit before you join us!

PEPY’s overhead budget is covered by the residual profits from PEPY Tours and by donations from donors who have allocated their funding directly to those costs. As such, the donations you and those who support you make to PEPY Ride go directly to educational programs we support in Cambodia! Learn more about PEPY Ride’s programs.

If you are still unsure about how our tour fees work, visit our “How to Pay” page or learn more about our tour fee breakdown. For most tour participants, their fundraising efforts have proven to be easier than they had imagined and have served as a good way to inspire other people’s interests in Cambodia and responsible travel.

Here are three tips on how to successfully fundraise for your tour:

1) Use this link! Each person has their own personal donation link, which should be used for all donations on this site on your behalf, so replace “firstname” with your first name, and “lastname” with your last, and then send off this link to your friends and family! http://pepyride.org/donate?for=firstname-lastname

The system will keep track of donations made in your name though this link. It’s up to YOU to keep track of your overall donations using the tracking sheet below. One easy way to do this is to give people this link and ask them to email you once they have donated.  If someone donates by check and writes your name in the memo line, we will email you to let you know so that you can add their information to your fundraising tracking sheet.

2) Read up on Cambodia and PEPY! You will enjoy your trip more and be more successful at fundraising if you better understand PEPY’s programs and some of the issues facing Cambodia. Read up on our Team Journal, and PEPY’s programs page to learn more about our work and the initiatives we support.

3) Read our fundraising guide! Don’t worry! Fundraising is SO much easier that you think.
