Tour Fee Breakdown

In addition to operating by our responsible tourism and environmental standards, PEPY Tours aims to catalyze a large-scale, transformational change in tourism. By crafting experiences that emphasize cross-cultural exchanges, education, and maximum-impact volunteering, PEPY Tours aspires to develop a new generation of socially-aware and responsible travelers.

The PEPY Tours model connects travelers with innovative development organizations, both inspiring travelers to see their potential as a change agent and providing much needed funding for development initiatives. PEPY Tours has a two part fee pricing structure: a tour fee and a donation minimum. One hundred percent of participants’ trip donations directly support the organizations that they visit during their trips. An average of 10% of the trip fee is reinvested in the tour operations and the remaining profits are used to off-set the expenses of The PEPY Ride, our sister NGO. This relationship ensures that donations to The PEPY Ride can be used to directly support educational projects and programs with minimal overhead.

NOTE: Graph above based on per person average one-week trip at $750. Support to minimize The PEPY Ride overhead varies from 20-30% of trip fee, depending on the number of total participants.
